What To Pack: South of France

Here at DARA, we are obsessed with travel, constantly dreaming about where we want to go and what we’re going to pack. This week, our team member Aydan is heading to the South of France. She’s agreed to share a few of her travel necessities so we can all live vicariously…
FINALpacking list 2

1. I always travel with a scarf, and I’ve had my eye on this one from Matta for my upcoming trip. It’s lightweight but still big enough to keep you warm. Matta Dupatta Ombre Shawl, $120
2. My Pais clutch is the perfect statement accessory. Not only is it easy it is to pack, but it also manages to hold everything I need for a night out. Red & White Arrow Clutch, $120
3. Ray Ban Aviators are my signature sunglasses. I never leave home without them during the summer. Ray Ban Aviators, $150
4. I try to mix it up with bolder pieces of jewelry when I travel. This bracelet adds a great pop of color. Yeyo Maasai Beaded Leather Bracelet, $85
5. My passport is of course a must-have when traveling abroad!
6. Lena Skadegard makes the most beautiful jewelry, and this necklace is a favorite. Moonstone & Opal Necklace, $850
7. These earrings from LA Cano are simple but add a bit of sophistication to an evening outfit. Lavender Dangling Earrings, $110
8. These towels are great for the beach or bath, and I love how they differ from traditional beach towels with their minimalist aesthetic. Asos Pashtemal, $60
9. I always bring a good moisturizer in my toiletry bag. This is my current favorite–I can’t get enough of its all-natural, relaxing scent. Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, $27
10. I never travel without a book! This bestseller by Anthony Doerr has been on my list for a while. All The Light We Cannot See, $13
11. I’ve been hunting for a good bathing suit cover-up and finally found the perfect one with this gauzy, handwoven cape. It easily transitions to a sophisticated evening wrap after a day at the beach. DARA Alpaca Cape, $275
