Mix It Up

Fall cocktails from the man behind our favorite new line of artisanal bar mixers.

Jack Rudy Cocktail Co., Brooks Reitz’s line of fine bar mixers, takes both its name and its inspiration from Reitz’s grandfather, Jack Rudy—a legendary imbiber who appreciated the art of mixing a good drink, perhaps with artisanal tonic or small-batch grenadine.

While Reitz’s company might pay homage to days past, his beverage philosophy is most certainly a modern one. With stints at the James Beard Award-winning FIG and much-heralded The Ordinary on his resume, he’s transforming the craft cocktail movement in Charleston, a city steeped in tradition. Who better, then, to guide us into a new season of drinking?
